WINNERS OF RAY’S BOATHOUSE 24TH ANNUAL 

RETROSPECTIVE OF NORTHWEST WINES COMPETITION ANNOUNCED

 Seattle, Washington – Every January, Ray’s Boathouse Restaurant on Shilshole Bay in Seattle, Washington conducts its Retrospective of Northwest Wines Competition. Now in its 24th year, this wine-lover’s event has uncovered hidden gems from up-and-coming wineries, as well as reaffirmed the well-deserved praise earned by established wineries. 

 On January 4-5, 2011, Ray’s wine director Richard Kelsey assembled a panel of judges consisting of sommeliers, wine writers and local wine experts to blind-taste Northwest wines released in 2010 (list of judges available upon request).

The Gold Winning Wines will be artfully paired with a delicious menu created by Ray’s Executive Chef Peter Birk and presented at the 24th Annual Retrospective Dinner with the winning winemakers in attendance.The dinner will be held on Friday, January 28, 2011, beginning at 6:30 PM.
