The Quincy Valley Hot Air Balloon Festival started in 2008 and is the best small town hot air balloon event in the Pacific Northwest. The pilots that have participated since our first festival have commented on what a beautiful area this is.
Not only is Quincy a great town but the beauty and the open space makes this area a great place to fly. This event will continue to grow in popularity and this is great for business and tourism.
Sunrise Launches are Saturday and Sunday, September 8th & 9th at sunrise (this is an amazing photo opportunity)
All launches are from Twin Firs Turf and are weather permitting. Sunrise launches are free to the public.
At dusk, the Balloons will light up for a tethered Night glow to illuminate the nighttime sky. The evening will end with a fireworks display from Farmer Consumer.
Six Chuter Powered Parachute Association will be selling Discovery flights during the day on Saturday and Sunday. The cost is $50.00 for a 20 minute flight. Times are flexible, first come first serve, and are weather permitting.
